I wonder what an all wild dandelion cake might be like. With chestnut flour perhaps.

Good question Kathy! Here in the Netherlands baking powder is sold in little packets. One package is equivalent to 1 teaspoon!

And that 1 package of vanilla powder might also be confusing depending on where you live. I usually use 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Great! Thank you! As soon as our dandelions get brave enough to bloom, I’m going to give this a try!!

A wonderful tasty cake with an excellent flavour! Thank you for sharing it. It took me two to three hours though to harvest the flowerpetals which turned out to be a meditative time passing. Is it 2 or 3 cups or 2/3 cup dandelions? I used 3 cups 😊

Wow, so glad you tried it and liked it! Ann can answer the 2 or 3 cups or 2/3 of a cup question. It's foolproof either way!

Hi Fifine! Henriette says two-thirds, but I think I've used up to 3 cups as well depending on how much time and extra hands , it's a very flexible recipe! I am making one tomorrow morning, probably the last of the season!
